Pop-up Service - Launch: 

ID 1484 TNT Sport 1 HD Final  -  Pop-up Service

- Hide flag removed (Hide1).

Following the removal of the hide flag, the pop-up service is now visible on channel 524.

UEFA Europa League Final - 22nd May 2024.

UEFA Europa Conference League Final - 29th May 2024.

UEFA Champions League Final - 1st June 2024.

A promotional information slate is being shown between matches.

 

 

Change of Active Hours:

ID 1865 Virgin TV Highlights  -  Barker Channel

- Active hours changed to 16:00-14:00 UTC (5pm - 3pm BST).

This opens up a slot from 3pm to 5pm where channel 100 will switch to ID 2052 "TuneAway HD Hidden" for the TNT Sports Fight Night Showcase - Ring of Fire: Tyson Fury v Oleksandr Usyk.

The showcase uses the SDT linkage service replacement service feature.

 

ID 2052 TuneAway HD Hidden is a background service used to showcase content on Channel 100. 

It doesn't appear on the EPG in its own right.

 

 

Temporary Rebrand:

Pop-up Service - SDT Root Flags: 

ID 1484 TNT Sport 1 HD Final  -  Pop-up Service - Inactive

- SDT Root flags changed to indicate that encryption has been added.

Encryption was actually added when the elementary streams were added on May 15th. 

The SDT root flags show the status and don't actually make the change.

Pop-up Service - Reactivation in Progress:

ID 1484 TNT Sport 1 HD Final  -  Pop-up Service - Inactive

 - PMT & Elementary Streams (video & audio) restored (TSID 514 SID 1402).

 - Nominally allocated channel number 524 where this service has previously appeared.

In preparation for UEFA coverage. Currently hidden from the EPG.

ID 2176 Eurosport UHD  -  Pop-up Service - Internal Networks Only.

- Added to the NIT of 2 extra internal networks - TTA Knowsley DMC (Hayes_RHE) & NGRHEE Bromley.
 

 

Change of Hide flags:

ID 1513 Sky Action HD

- Hide1 and Hide2 flags removed.

As the flags in this combination cancelled each other out, their removal has no overall effect for viewers.

 

 

Temporary Rebrands:

- 2 movie channels with promotional rebrands.

Pop-up service reverts from placeholder status to pre-launch configuration: 

ID 2176 Eurosport UHD  -  Pop-up Service - Internal Networks Only.

- Moved from TSID 7 placeholder SID 780 to operational SID 701 on DVB-C networks.

- Hide1, End of Service and Placeholder flags removed.

- Subscription pack code added for Stream Essential Entertainment.

- PMT & Elementary streams (video and audio) added to TSID 7 SID 701 on DVB-C networks.

- SDT root flags updated to indicate encryption added.

- Removed from the NIT of all networks except Code Download Test (Portsmouth).

These changes indicate that the Eurosport UHD pop-up service is about to be reactivated on channel 523.

Removal of the end of service placeholder flags means any recordings made previously will become, temporarily, unplayable.

Removal of the hide flag would normally make the service visible on the EPG however, as the service has been removed from the NIT of customer networks, it will not be visible at this point.

Code Download Test (Portsmouth) is an internal network often used for pre-launch configurations.

Possibly for coverage of the French Open at Roland Garros due to start this year on Monday May 20th.
