- End of Service and Placeholder flags have been added.

 

The end of service / placeholder flag combination preserves any recordings for a short period following a channel closure.  

These services have closed on Virgin TV, they are currently carrying a closure slate advising viewers that That's TV is still available on channel 150.

ID 2141  Sky Animation HD  - Placeholder - End of Service

- SDT root flags show that this service is running and not encrypted - encryption removed.

Encryption has been removed following the removal of elementary streams on May 20th.

 

Temporary Rebrand: 
- 1 movie channel with a promotional rebrand - the service name change scheduled for May 23rd has now been actioned by Virgin TV.

 - Added back to the NIT of remaining networks.

This service is now visible on customer devices on channel 526, bringing coverage of UEFA cup final games.

 

 

Channel Closure - Housekeeping:

- All elementary streams have now been removed following the channel closure (TSID 24 SID 2404 on traditional cable networks).

Note:

Analysis noted that the changes listed on the May 13th update were all reversed by Virgin TV. This data was held in the database without updating the history. Subsequent analysis showed that the changes from May 13th had been restored. As processing changes of this type is very time consuming, data from May15th has not been recorded. 

 

This type of situation usually indicates that Virgin TV has lost data and restored the service from the previous day's backup.
