- End of Service and Placeholder flags added in preparation for the channel closure.

This flag combination preserves any recordings for a short period following a channel closure. 

 

At 6am a Virgin Media slate cut in following the final commercial break, informing viewers of the channel closure.

As with other recent channel closures, the slate has been routed to the original vPID and is not using a "Channel Update" service. 

Stream users, however, didn't get the closure slate but a frozen image of the video output when the feed was cut.
