Pop-up Service Reverting from Placeholder Status to Pre-launch Configuration:

ID 2176 Eurosport UHD  -  Pop-up Service - Internal Networks Only.

- Moved from TSID 7 placeholder SID 780 to operational SID 701 on DVB-C networks.

- End of Service and Placeholder flags removed. Any recordings made previously will become, temporarily, unplayable.

- Hide flag removed (Hide1). This would normally make the service visible on the EPG.

- Subscription pack code added for Stream Essential Entertainment.

- PMT & Elementary streams (video and audio) added to TSID 7 SID 701 on DVB-C networks.

- SDT root flags show that the service has been encrypted.

- Removed from the NIT of all networks except Code Download Test (Portsmouth). Effectively hiding the service from customer devices.

 

These changes indicate that the Eurosport UHD pop-up service is about to be reactivated on channel 523.

Code Download Test (Portsmouth) is an internal network often used for pre-launch configurations.

 

Possibly for coverage of the French Open at Roland Garros due to start this year on Monday May 20th.

Note that, in previous years, Eurosport UHD coverage has started a few days into the French Open and not for the initial qualifiers.
