Several anomalies appeared in the SI data overnight.
- These have been recorded as "possible errors" and are expected to be reversed relatively soon.
This
seems to be an ongoing pattern as Virgin introduced some of these and other entries
in December, January, February and June, only to reverse them at a later date. The
changes are mainly to placeholders and internal test services and should
have no impact on the end user. Some different changes this time but without the totally outdated data codes seen in previous changes.
Subsequent changes:
Channel Closure:
Channel 748 - ID 1717 Create & Craft - Placeholder - End of Service.
- End of Service and Placeholder flags have been added.
- Hide flags have changed, removing the channel from the EPG. - Hide2 flag removed.
- Moved to a placeholder EPG Slot on channel 1702.The end of service / placeholder flag combination preserves any recordings for a short period following a channel closure.
Spurious SI Data:
All of the spurious data added last night has now been removed.
Probably the fastest clean-up on record.
