End of a Free To View period:

- Temporary subscription pack codes removed for M/Player/Mixit on traditional cable networks and for the basic, inclusive channels, pack for Stream devices.

These channels have now reverted to legacy Mix and above, Maxit & Stream "Essential Channels" customers. The free to view period was advertised as to 21st April but, with Virgin TV, this invariably indicates the date of the free to view removal.

Channel Closure - SDT Flags:

- SDT root flags updated to show that this service is running and not encrypted - encryption removed. 

The PMT & elementary streams have also been removed from TSID 3 SID 321 on traditional cable networks. This usually happens the day before the overnight SDT flag changes are noted. 

On this occasion, PMTs & elementary streams weren't analysed on the 17th.

End of a Free to View Period:

Channel 544  -  ID 1816 Liverpool FC TV  -   Not available on Stream.

- Subscription Pack FTV Override Code removed, returning the channel to premium subscription access.

Ending the free to view for the anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster.

 

On Horizon based platforms, the subscription pack codes added for M/Player/Mixit and above & for Stream "Inclusive Channels" have been removed.

Start of a Free to View Period:

Override codes only work for Tivo/V6 boxes so the Horizon analysis has been run for Horizon based platforms:

On Horizon based platforms, subscription pack codes have been added for M/Player/Mixit and above. Interestingly, as LFC TV is supposedly not available on Stream devices, the Stream "Inclusive Channels" subscription pack code has also been added.

Rebrand / re-launch:

Channel 282  -  ID  259 Club MTV  -  Formerly know as MTV Hits

MTV Hits has re-launched as Club MTV

Channel Closure:

Channel 331  -  ID 1720  Sky HISTORY +1  -  Placeholder - End of Service.

- End of Service and Placeholder flags have been added.

The end of service / placeholder flag combination preserves any recordings for a short period following a channel closure.

FAST Services - Change of Genre:

Channel 446  -  ID 2362 Rakuten TV Top Movies  -  FAST Channel Portal - Not on V6 or Tivo

Channel 447  -  ID 2363 Rakuten TV Action  -  FAST Channel Portal - Not on V6 or Tivo

- Both services changed Genre from Entertainment to Movies.

These services now appear in the Movies filter of the EPG, where available.

- PIN Protection flags removed from both services.

- Hidden from the EPG of V6 & Tivo boxes with the Hide1 flag left in place.

- Both services added to the NIT of all remaining networks.

- Subscription pack codes have not been added on traditional cable networks as the TV 360 box has direct access to the app. from the EPG.

These channels are now visible on the EPG on customer boxes, where available.

Not available on V6 boxes but V6 customers can access the channels via the Rakuten TV app.

- SDT root flags have changed to indicate that encryption has been removed.

An unusual flag combination, usually used to preserve recordings when a channel is closed. Unusual as FAST channels cannot be recorded.

Usually this this type of changed would be labelled as "rested" because of the flag combination. However, the recent purchase of the channel by an American food delivery company to promote its services suggests that the channel is unlikely to return to the UK market.
