FAST channels hidden from the V6 EPG (Internal Duplicates):

 - All services hidden from the EPG - hide1 flag added. 

These internal tests have joined other FAST channels by adding flags to hide them from the V6 & legacy Tivo EPGs. No immediate change for customers as these are only added to the NIT of various internal networks.

 

 

New FAST Service - Pre-launch Configuration:

 

ID 2420  Tennis Channel  -  FAST Channel Portal - Internal Networks Only

- Short EPG Name: Tennis Chnl 

- Added to TSID 8 SID 816 on traditional cable networks.

- Pre-launch EPG slot allocation - channel 542. Channel numbers are subject to change.

- Flagged as the Sport Genre.

- Hidden from the EPG - Hide1 flag added.

- HD flag added.

- SDT root flags show that the services are not running and not encrypted.

- SI based subscription codes are no longer added for FAST services. Horizon based subscription codes are not currently tracked. 

- Added to 5 internal networks often used for pre-launch configuration.
   - Code Download Test (Portsmouth)
   - NGRHEE Bromley

   - TTA Bromley DMC (Bromley RHE)
   - TTA Knowsley DMC (Hayes_RHE)
   - VM Paddington 

- PMTs and elementary streams are no longer used for FAST services.

 

 

Important note:

Data from Thursday's monitoring was lost due to a system error at our data hub caused by a third party system fault. The system has been recovered and results for Thursday / Friday are being combined in the blog based on Friday's data. If Thursday's data is recovered at a later stage, the blog will be updated but given the extent of the damage, that is unlikely. Given the nature of the changes, the exact date of change isn't critical.
